We were able to get our hands on Lotte Kopecky’s bike a few minutes after the finish of Paris-Roubaix.The world champion won the Hell of the North with a 50-tooth Sram single chainring. A chain guide prevents chain drops. Note the Quarq power meter and Time pedals. The Sram Red cassette has 12 speeds, from 10 to 33 teeth. For the wheels, the choice fell on Roval Rapide CLX II, with S-Works Mondo tires in 32 mm section. These tires are particularly resistant and the 32 mm section offers good grip on the cobbles.
On the 120 mm stem (for a size 52 frame), the team staff glued the mileage of the different cobbled sectors. The world champion adjusts her brake levers with an inward angle, but at the limit of UCI regulations. For the occasion, a round handlebar is mounted on the Belgian’s bike, for more comfort on the cobbles with hands on the top of the bar. Blips for changing gears without changing hand position are placed near the stem.Inverted seatpost and forward position for the Team SD Worx champion.
