PROS – Paris-Roubaix 2024: the route, ratings of the 29 cobbled sectors, the start list, and TV broadcast times for the 121st edition

Paris-Roubaix 2024 takes place on Sunday, April 7, between Compiègne in the Oise and Roubaix in the Nord. With a total distance of 260 km, the Hell of the North features 29 cobbled sectors (55.7 km) to tackle over the last 160 kilometers, with difficulty levels ranging from one star (easy) to five stars (extremely difficult). Winner in 2023, the Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel, the overwhelming winner of the Tour of Flanders last Sunday, is the clear favorite, especially in the forced absence due to injury of his greatest rival, the Belgian Wout van Aert. He could thus succeed the Slovak Peter Sagan as the last winner to wear the rainbow jersey on the velodrome. But the World Champion will have no choice but to be (again) at the top of his game, attentive at the front of the race, and somewhat lucky. Because the treacherous cobbles hold many surprises, difficulties, and changes in scenario. Nothing can be predicted in advance. This is what other contenders for victory such as Mads Pedersen, Matteo Jorgensen, Nils Politt, Kasper Asgreen, Stefan Küng, and Matej Mohoric keep in mind. To follow the race closely, find the detailed course map, the list and ratings of the 29 cobbled sectors, the teams and riders entered, and the TV broadcast times for this 121st edition.
