The new Canyon Speedmax CF lineup now features internal cable routing on all models thanks to the all-new CP0041 cockpit. According to the brand, the Canyon Speedmax is the most successful and famous bike in modern triathlon. It is an icon of long-distance world records and a six-time World Champion, ridden by athletes such as Jan Frodeno, reigning World Champion Sam Laidlow, and former World Champions Chelsea Sodaro and Patrick Lange. When you talk about top-level performance in triathlon, you’re talking about the Canyon Speedmax.

But even though the Speedmax has regularly graced triathlon podiums for over a decade, the sport’s flagship bike isn’t exclusively reserved for pros. Watch any triathlon race on the calendar, and you’ll see age-group athletes from around the world gaining a time advantage thanks to the Speedmax CF.

And there are several reasons for this:
- Aerodynamics: Shaped using technologies developed in the wind tunnel, the latest Speedmax CF is faster than the 2019 Speedmax CF SLX ridden by Jan Frodeno, winner of the Ironman Hawaii.

- Hydration, nutrition, and tool storage throughout the race: Stay focused on the race thanks to the Speedmax CF’s smart onboard storage solutions.

- World Championship DNA: Drawing inspiration from the flagship CFR and SLX platforms, the Speedmax CF makes speed, smart integration, and carbon construction accessible with a custom fit.

Faster, better: the Speedmax CF now features cockpit integration
Drawing further inspiration from the setups used by the world’s top pros, the new Speedmax CF lineup now offers cable integration on all models, thanks to the all-new CP0041 cockpit.
“The benefits of integrated cockpit designs are significant and well-established: they’re more aesthetically pleasing, cleaner, and save vital watts compared to a traditional design with external cables,” explains Moritz Hief, road product manager at Canyon.
“For years, we’ve been using a fully integrated cockpit design on the Speedmax CFR ridden by our pros. With the new Speedmax CF, our goal was to enable even more athletes to reap the benefits of these developments by making them available on the market. What’s really exciting is that with this kind of approach, you can draw a direct line from the input of athletes like Jan Frodeno—who guide our development efforts—to the bikes that age-group riders use in races around the world. “It’s a vision we like to call the democratization of performance, and we’re proud to see this vision become a reality,” Hief continues.
In addition to improved integration, the CP0041 cockpit is also compatible with a new hydration system designed by Canyon. Holding up to 750 ml of liquid, it perfectly complements the aerodynamic lines of the Speedmax CF frame, and with a straw securely attached to the cockpit via a built-in magnet, athletes can enjoy quick access to hydration without any aerodynamic penalties and without having to break their aerodynamic position.

Two distinct configurations
The Speedmax CF is available in two new versions that offer excellent value for the price.
