Campagnolo Launches New Campagnolo Ekar GT Groupset and New Zonda GT Wheels

Campagnolo addresses these passionate users with its new Ekar GT groupset paired with Zonda GT wheels: GT for Gran Turismo, targeting cyclists whose motto is “Don’t hold back“.

The Ekar GT groupset was designed to be versatile. The new 1×13 single chainring drivetrain allows for combining four cassette options (9/36, 9/42, 10/44, and 10/48) with five chainrings (44, 42, 40, 38, and the new 36). Everyone can thus choose their drivetrain from a wide range of gear ratios according to their requirements and practices.

The new aluminum crankset ensures optimal power transmission thanks to Ultra-Torque™ and ProTech™ technologies and the convenience of replacing chainrings without having to remove the crankset. The rear derailleur is efficient and intuitive. Everyone will appreciate the simplicity of its adjustment mode and its locking system for easily removing the rear wheel. The derailleur cage, unique for all cassettes, allows for quick gear selection. Building on the Ekar experience, Campagnolo has equipped the new Ekar GT with larger, perforated derailleur pulleys to facilitate cleaning.

The revised ergonomics of the levers ensure an extremely comfortable palm rest area and a wide range of lever adjustment for all hand sizes. All materials have been chosen for their robustness, durability, and easy maintenance of components.

Weighing 2,700 grams, this new Ekar GT groupset also stands out with graphic details and tone-on-tone nuances that highlight the winged wheel, Campagnolo’s symbol.

The common ground between Gravel and road are the new Zonda GT wheels, a transversal and strategic product perfectly suited to the Ekar GT groupset. These aluminum road wheels are intended for both endurance and gravel use. They are ideally positioned in the range to meet the needs of the greatest number of riders. Characterized by the exclusive G3 spoke pattern with eight groups of 3 spokes, the Zonda GT are offered in disc version only with all freehub body standards, including, of course, N3W.

They weigh 1690 grams, their internal rim width is 23 mm, and their rim depth is 29 mm. Ekar GT and Zonda GT stand out for their elegance and excellent value for money, allowing everyone to access the Campagnolo universe.

The retail price of the Ekar GT groupset is €1,490.
