Three new models of glasses with Shimano’s Ridescape technology

Shimano adds three new eyewear models to its performance range for all types of cyclists and all weather conditions. Featuring RIDESCAPE lens technology, which accentuates colors and highlights different types of terrain, the new Technium, Technium L, and Twinspark are designed to offer all-day comfort.

Shimano’s RIDESCAPE lens technology includes six lens variants adapted to different riding conditions and terrain types. Whether it’s a very sunny day on the road, mountain biking through shaded areas in the forest, or chasing the declining light on a sunset gravel ride, RIDESCAPE technology transmits the right amount of light for optimal visibility. Details that would normally be dull or flat become sharper and clearer.

TECHNIUM Eyewear

The new Technium eyewear features a lightweight, protective full-frame for all-day comfort, on the road and trails. Integrated anti-fog vents at the top and bottom of the lenses allow you to see clearly in all conditions.

A reversible nose pad allows for optimal customization of the fit on your nose, while the soft, curved temples integrate better with current bike helmets to keep your glasses in place on all terrains.
Technium eyewear is available in three RIDESCAPE lens variants: RD for road, OR for mountain biking, or GR for gravel. Each of these lenses also comes with an interchangeable clear lens for low-light conditions.

Technium frames are made from 45% bio-sourced Arkema Rilsan® clear G850 Rnew® material, which helps reduce carbon emissions during the manufacturing process.

TECHNIUM L Eyewear

The Technium L model offers an even lighter frame option. Weighing just 26 grams, these glasses feature a large one-piece lens for optimal protection and comfort. They are ideal for long road rides, extensive mountain bike tours, or endless gravel adventures.

Available with the same three RIDESCAPE lenses (RD, OR, or GR) as its Technium counterpart, as well as with the interchangeable clear lens, the Technium L also comes in a Photochromic version with a gray tinted lens. This lens automatically changes its tint according to sun exposure and the level of UV reflected. When conditions are dark, the lens is almost clear. When it’s brighter, the lens takes on a darker tint.

TWINSPARK Eyewear

For cyclists looking for a first pair of glasses at the right price, the Twinspark is a versatile option with a lightweight half-frame combined with a RIDESCAPE HC lens suitable for daytime use. The lens filters asphalt glare and accentuates ground surface details to help cyclists ride with confidence.

RIDESCAPE HC lenses offer optimal protection as well as a clearer view of the road. Colors are rich and sharp thanks to the lenses. Like the Technium and Technium L models, Twinspark eyewear is scratch-resistant, water-repellent, and features a new BPA-free polyamide Shimano lens that improves clarity.
