The GravelX 4.0 sets new standards by uniquely combining high speed and comfort. The jury’s statement highlighted: “With the BH GRAVELX 4.0, the Basque bike manufacturer shows what a comfortable gravel race bike is capable of. BH’s exclusive Smooth Riding System (SRS) relies on openings in the seatstays and a pivot point on the seat tube. This creates a unique rear triangle design that dampens vibrations, while still offering enough stiffness for demanding climbs and threshold sprints…”

The exceptional features of the GravelX 4.0 include “a high level of comfort without displaying noticeable flex or movement, offering solid climbing performance and certain acceleration.”

The jury also praised the integration of the specific Aero toolbox in the down tube and the use of integrated quick-release thru-axles, highlighting the sporty character of the GravelX 4.0. The Aero toolbox offers a hidden storage solution for a tool, a spare inner tube, and a CO2 cartridge, while the quick-release thru-axles ensure quick and simple handling.

The entire package sets new standards for competition but also for use by recreational cyclists, earning it the Design & Innovation Award 2024.

BH Bikes is delighted with this recognition and is proud to develop the GravelX 4.0, a product that exceeds expectations for a gravel race bike.

The Design & Innovation Award (DI.A) is one of the most prestigious and significant awards in the cycling industry. The jury, composed of an experienced test team of 30 members, rigorously evaluates and tests all products for two weeks in real conditions, on paved mountain village streets or on demanding segments and trails from Kronplatz to the surreal beauty of the UNESCO World Heritage site, Naturpark Fanes-Sennes-Prags.
