The Bianchi Specialissima RC Wins the Design and Innovation Award

The new-generation all-purpose bike, designed by Bianchi Reparto Corse, stood out by winning the Design & Innovation Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the world of cycling and outdoor sports.

The Specialissima RC, a new-generation all-purpose bike designed by Bianchi Reparto Corse, won the Design & Innovation Award, presented by the German publishing house 41publishing, for the best road bike of 2024.

The Design & Innovation Award is considered one of the most prestigious design awards in the world of cycling and is recognized as one of the most influential accolades in the outdoor world. The award is presented after all nominated products have undergone meticulous testing by a select team of international journalists, professional testers, and experts who devote more than 6,000 hours to the selection process.

The new Specialissima was rated the best road bike of 2024. The jury described it as follows: “The result of a coherent development process, it is an impressive final product that meets all targeted development objectives and stands out for its clean and elegant design.”

From a purely visual standpoint, the Italians have drawn on their inimitable style and refreshed the Specialissima’s design to bring it in line with current trends, with a weight of just 6.65 kg. They add: “With the exception of the tires, drivetrain, and brakes, Bianchi supplies all the components, which are specifically tailored for competition. With the Specialissima RC, Bianchi has delivered a complete, self-contained, and coherent speed concept for professional athletes and ambitious amateur riders.”

The bike’s aesthetics have also been recognized, thanks to its unmistakable style with a fresh, contemporary touch.
