For several years, the Italian motorcycle company has launched a range of E-bikes that now achieve the highest performance on all terrains. They reflect Ducati’s goal of offering its customers unique and enriching experiences. The Futa is the perfect example. An E-Road combining lightness and performance with a design that is as sporty as it is elegant.

The Futa is named in homage to the curves of the pass of the same name between Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany, known and loved by all Ducatisti. It enters the E-Road segment of electric-assist road bikes. A lightweight model that embodies the pure Ducati spirit, focusing on design, innovation, and pleasure. A latest-generation bike developed to cover greater distances and climbs beyond your expectations.
Unsurprisingly, the Futa relies on advanced materials and technologies. It features a strong and flexible carbon fiber monocoque frame that improves aerodynamics and speed. Agile and robust, the Trimax Carbon Aero handlebar is also made of carbon fiber. Its 10° inclination allows for a more upright and therefore more comfortable riding position. The Vision AGX30 wheels with carbon rims are equipped with 35 mm Pirelli Cinturato Velo “Tubeless Ready” tires, which guarantee grip, resistance, and comfort. The crankset with carbon pedals and 160 mm disc brakes complete this electric racing bike. Available in four sizes (53, 55, 57, or 59), the Futa weighs 12.4 kg (in size M) with a frame-integrated battery.
The FSA System HM 1.0 motor, located on the rear hub, develops a power of 250W, with a torque of 42 Nm. It is one of the lightest and most compact in its category, weighing 3.95 kg. It is equipped with five assistance levels selectable via the Garmin control unit located on the handlebar. The wireless 2 x 12-speed electronic derailleur ensures smooth, silent, fast, and precise gear changes, and the FSA – K-Force hydraulic disc brakes complete the package.
The bike features a 250 Wh FSA battery integrated into the down tube. A 250Wh range extender is also available as an option to double the range and reach nearly 160 km. The Futa is connected to the FSA app, available for iOS and Android devices. It allows the user to quickly and intuitively view statistics, system status, remaining range, and charge status. It is also possible to download updates and communicate with FSA service centers worldwide.

Ducati also offers the Futa LTD version, a limited edition of 50 numbered units. Created for the most demanding cyclists who want to enjoy the best in terms of technological innovation and performance, it retains the characteristics of the Futa. In addition to the special Ducati Corse livery, it is enhanced with components that make it even lighter, weighing 12.2 kg.
Equipped with an FSA E-System 252 Wh battery, it features a Super Record EPS 12V groupset (50-34 crankset, 11-32 cassette, and 160 mm / 160 mm hydraulic disc brakes) with Vision Metron 40 SL wheels and Pirelli Cinturato tires. The saddle is a Selle Italia SLR, the seatpost is the Futa Carbon, and the handlebar + stem combo is a Vision Metron 5D. More sophisticated and high-end, this model is sold for 11990 euros and comes with a Garmin Edge GPS.
