Join the thousands of cycle tourists expected in the streets of Roanne (42) from July 20 to 28.
The largest annual cycle tourism event, the Semaine fédérale is the flagship event of the French Cycling Tourism Federation, allowing cycling enthusiasts to gather with family or friends, and discover a new region and new routes. In 2024, Roanne and the Loire department will welcome all curious visitors to discover a rich heritage and varied local gastronomy.
You can enjoy a week to discover 6 landscapes by bike:
- The green Beaujolais and its territory of hills and meadows.
- From the Loire to the Canal along a greenway
- Gorges de la Loire and Forez plain with its breathtaking view of the dam lake.
- The Monts de la Madeleine and its foothills
- The Brionnais and its pastures
- The Bourbonnais, the Roannaise coast and its vineyards.
Mountain bike and gravel enthusiasts will have a blast in one of the regions with the densest network of mountain bike and gravel trails, between 279m and 1164m of altitude…
And let’s not forget the festivities, throughout the Week, in the city of Roanne, at the reception points along the routes, at the campsite set up for the occasion… Because the Semaine fédérale de cyclotourisme is above all about sharing a passion and the conviviality of cycling!
