Q36.5 is proud to be the title sponsor and technical apparel provider for the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team for the second consecutive year. The new high-performance race kit for 2024 has been unveiled.

The official team kit consists of the Gregarius Pro apparel (Gregarius Pro Jersey and Bib Shorts), Unique shoes, and the new Dottore Clima shoes, which will be launched by Q36.5 in February of this year.

In 2023, in its inaugural season, the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team celebrated seven victories and numerous top-10 finishes in stage races throughout the cycling calendar. The goal for this second road season is to build on the momentum created in the first year and climb the ranks of the world standings by developing rider talent to aim for more victories. The team has worked and will continue to work constantly on aspects such as performance analysis and technical improvements to continuously live the mission of #RacingTheFuture. Eight new riders join the multicultural team: former European champion Giacomo Nizzolo, former Irish national champion Rory Townsend, and Frederik Frison, David de la Cruz, Alessandro Fancellu, Jannik Steimle, Xabier Mikel Azparren, and James Whelan.

The Gregarius Pro jersey and bib shorts are two essential elements of Q36.5’s RaceWear range: they are advanced and durable technical garments that have helped the team master the toughest and most demanding races and maintain the ideal body temperature of 36.5°C at all times during competition and training.

The visual elements of the kit are inspired by the team’s commitment to advancing the future of cycling as a whole. The slightly darker color, graphic elements reflecting body thermoregulation analysis, and fluorescent yellow accents ensure maximum visibility in all race situations.

The team’s mission, #RacingTheFuture, is clearly highlighted on the back panel of the jersey, anchoring their objective in the peloton, while Q36.5’s revolutionary body mapping and thermoregulation technology is a recurring theme throughout the Pro Team collection.

The Q36.5 Gregarius Pro Team jersey is extremely lightweight (weighing only 110g), breathable, and dries very quickly. It combines four exclusive fabrics, produced from 70% recycled yarns, and 11 patterns, all strategically placed to allow for maximum aerodynamics and thermoregulation.

The Q36.5 Gregarius Pro Team bib shorts are equally lightweight, only 175g, and feature the patented Qlab Air chamois insert. They are characterized by an elastic bib strap system and the brand’s leg band finish, all developed by their in-house R&D team to optimize comfort and for optimal power transfer. Made from 100% recycled yarns and, like the entire Q36.5 line, sourced and handcrafted within a 350 km radius of the Bolzano headquarters, they provide sustainable and high-performance cycling apparel at a superior level.

The Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team shoes

Unlike the previous season, the team will race with both the Unique shoes, as well as the new Dottore Clima shoes, another revolutionary addition from the Q36.5 LAB. This is linked to Q36.5’s study of the “3-point contact” system – where they optimize the three contact points a cyclist has with their bike through shoes, bib shorts, and gloves – resulting in marginal gains through optimal power transfer and comfort.

Luigi Bergamo, CEO and Head of R&D at Q36.5, comments on the new kit and the collaboration with the team: “Inspired by our body mapping studies and based on our fundamental principles of progress and innovation, our Pro Team Race kit has been developed to help our athletes push their own limits. We are extremely proud to see the team’s riders benefit from our products and take performance cycling to a higher level. Together, we are building the future of cycling #RacingTheFuture.”

“Our team truly enjoyed its first season wearing Q36.5 technical apparel in the toughest cycling conditions, culminating in 200 race days,” says Doug Ryder, General Manager of the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. “The fact that the riders found comfort, durability, and technical functionality in Q36.5 apparel during such long race days speaks volumes about the brand’s quality and reliability. Achieving optimal performance requires enduring diverse weather conditions and rigorous cycling environments while maintaining comfort, and Q36.5 delivered on all fronts. The new kit for the 2024 season features an incredible design, providing greater visibility for our partners and increased visual awareness of our riders through the fluorescent yellow markings that will make them recognizable when competing in the peloton.”
