The Z1 KinetiCore is for those who seek lightness without compromising on protection. This new model has been designed to be both lightweight and well-ventilated, while meeting safety standards and offering integrated rotational impact protection.
Taking the iconic Z1 as a starting point, worn by famous athletes such as André Greipel on the Champs-Elysées, Lazer has kept everything that made it successful and improved it by integrating Lazer’s patented KinetiCore technology. The result is a 5-star rating from Virginia Tech for its integrated rotational impact protection, with a weight of only 220g (size M).
Strategically placed vents, a rounded surface, and a floating headband at the brow ensure optimal ventilation while keeping aerodynamics in mind. A Lazer Aeroshell cover is compatible with this helmet and can be attached to close the vents, thus offering greater aerodynamics as well as protection against weather conditions.
The helmet now integrates the Lazer Advanced RollSys retention system, a dial located on the top of the helmet that controls the fit around the entire circumference of the head for more comfort, without pressure points. As the helmet adjustment is now operated from the top, this leaves more room for ponytails or buns.
Other features of the Z1 KinetiCore include lightweight straps sewn from recycled and antibacterial materials, designed for comfort. The removal of the plastic strap divider and the use of recycled materials are small steps towards a more sustainable future, as Lazer wishes.
The Z1 KinetiCore allows you to store your glasses in the vents thanks to a dedicated slot. Increased visibility is easily achieved by attaching a universal Lazer LED light to the back of the helmet.
