Garmin is offering a new feature update for Edge bike computers/GPS devices

Your device should evolve with you. To help you take advantage of the latest technologies, Garmin is rolling out feature updates for your smartwatch or GPS bike computer. These include the ability to view photos.

On a Garmin bike computer from the Edge 540, 840, 1040, or Explore 2 series, you can receive Smart Notifications—including emails, text messages, and alerts—when it’s paired with your iPhone or Android smartphone. Now, with an Android phone, you can also view the photos you receive on your Edge’s screen.

The update is currently available for download via Garmin Express.
