For more than 25 years, the Shimano Service Center network has continued to grow and improve in quality. The motto has not changed over the years: build a network of reference stores for bike maintenance and the skills of technicians and salespeople. The 175th Shimano Service Center store is Cycles Le Gall in Landerneau (29).

Beyond the symbolic number, this new recruit to the Shimano Service Center network demonstrates the strategic importance of customer care and service in the development and sustainability of physical stores.
Cyril Bihan, manager of Cycles Le Gall store, states: “Cycles Le Gall was founded in 1977 by Eliane and Guy Le Gall. Guy was an excellent Category 1 racer at the time. Passionate about cycling since my earliest childhood and a customer of the store for many years, I seized the opportunity in 2017 when the founders retired to continue the adventure. In 2021, after ending his professional career, Maxime Cam joined me to further develop the shop. After almost 1 year of work, we expanded the store’s sales area as well as the workshop. And it was only natural that we applied to become a Shimano Service Center. We are long-standing Shimano customers and we appreciate the quality of the products, of course, but above all the quality of the relationships we maintain with all contacts in sales, technical, after-sales service, etc.”
Mathieu Arrambourg, General Manager of Shimano France states: ” For more than 20 years, Shimano France has strived to be a true partner to its customers, so that they can best serve consumers. Thanks, among other things, to its network of Shimano Service Center stores, the Japanese brand’s aura has evolved over the years to become today the reference brand for the innovation and quality of its products, but also for its advice and maintenance services. The 175th Shimano Service Center store is an important milestone for our network because it contributes to the increasingly dense network across our territory, so that every consumer has access to a plethora of choices offered by trained and certified professionals close to home. The Cycles Le Gall store, located in the heart of Brittany in Landerneau, a land of cycling, has a history of more than 45 years. After the handover between its founders and the new team a few years ago, we are very happy that Cyril and Maxime have chosen to join one of the largest store networks in France. Our roots, our values, our vision and our passion for cycling in all its forms, but also and above all our priority for the services provided to all cyclists, allow us to continue to develop, through all types of stores, whatever the brands of bicycles present in these points of sale. The excellent dynamism of the workshops of all our Shimano Service Centers proves how much the stores that have chosen or will choose in the coming years to trust us all share the same vision: it is thanks to a quality offer and services that, all together, we build loyalty among practitioners to our stores and our brand.”
Celebration
The Les Cycles Le Gall store will host a reception on Thursday, November 30, at its store at 10 Rue Alain Daniel, in Landerneau, in the presence of representatives from Shimano France. This convivial moment is scheduled for 6:00 PM, and you are welcome to attend.
