Aerodynamic performance, lightness, and off-road capabilities are the keywords of the new Impulso family, consisting of the RC, Pro, and Comp versions, meeting the needs of different types of users.

The new Impulso family is Bianchi‘s answer to all those looking for speed on a variety of terrains, from dirt tracks to gravel, mud, cobblestones, and road. With these bikes, the Bianchi Reparto Corse department has strived to balance aerodynamic performance, lightness, and off-road capabilities.
Gravel has reached a turning point in its evolution. A discipline that once defied categorization is now divided into increasingly different and defined worlds. A clear split appears between the world of competition, characterized by high-performance races such as the Gravel Earth Series, Lifetime Grand Prix, and other UCI World Championships, and the more relaxed atmosphere of gravel riding, sometimes called adventure cycling and often closely associated with bikepacking and exploration. Two profoundly different approaches that demand different answers. The Impulso RC is the purest reflection of Bianchi’s competitive spirit, now applied to gravel.

Just like the Oltre and Specialissima, the Impulso family comes in three models: RC, Pro, and Comp, designed to meet the needs of all cyclists.
Gravel under the sign of competition
Reparto Corse has meticulously optimized the Impulso RC to meet the demands of the discipline, considering each facet as a precise element of a homogeneous and coherent whole. This systematic approach becomes a fundamental element of the Italian brand’s design philosophy.
The carbon frame, with its clean design, draws inspiration from the aerodynamic lines of the Oltre aero road model. Weight is redistributed in the larger sections at the front to maximize aerodynamic efficiency. The progressive geometry is derived from the confident and stable performance of elite XC mountain bikes and is accompanied by a shorter stem than the Specialissima RC, but with a longer reach for greater stability.
The Impulso RC frame can accommodate 42 mm tires for more stable handling on uneven sections. The bottom bracket height is 70 mm for maximum control and versatility, no matter the challenge. ASTM2 certification guarantees its capabilities on unpaved roads, gravel paths, and moderately sloped trails.

The new Impulso platform benefits from the aerodynamic gains achieved during the development of the Oltre RC and Specialissima models. It is complemented by a fork perfectly integrated into the head tube and the dedicated RC aerodynamic rims, to achieve one of the most aerodynamic gravel bikes in its category.
The work of the Reparto Corse department gives the new Impulso RC a revised and improved cockpit, with increased stiffness for optimal control. The 16° flare of the handlebar offers the cyclist more control on technical descents, while its extremely lightweight carbon fiber composition has reduced its weight to just 340g.
Like its high-end road models, Bianchi has also paid particular attention to the components, which are an integral part of the bike’s system and performance. The Impulso RC is equipped with RC43 rims in 3K carbon, with a 43 mm rim depth and an internal width of 25 mm.

The Impulso family
While the Impulso RC is the top-of-the-range model for elite racers aiming for participation in the UCI Gravel Series, the Pro and Comp models are an integral part of the new family. The Impulso RC is available in a single metallic Celeste color, enhanced with accents in the iconic Celeste CK16 color. It is available at a price of €5,578 excluding VAT.
The Impulso Pro meets the needs of demanding athletes who give their maximum in competition and who race for victory in every gravel sportive they participate in. Equipped with Velomann Terbium wheels and a Velomann Mitora Hyper saddle, it is offered in two matte colors, a classic Celeste and a steel gray, at a price of €3,463 excluding VAT.
The Impulso Comp, equipped with a Velomann Mitora saddle, offers those discovering the world of gravel racing a glossy finish, available in the iconic Celeste or a premium golden-brown inspired by the rich tones of the forest. It is available at a price of €2,459 excluding VAT.
