The New Zealand brand Chapter2 presents the Koko, an aerodynamic frame with astonishing shapes, announced as a masterpiece on two wheels, with a classic livery that perfectly merges with cutting-edge aerodynamics.
Air resistance is the most critical factor separating a fast bike from one that slices through the air like a bird. Koko means “to soar, to fly” in Maori, and as its name suggests, this aero road model is designed for speed.

The Koko features a down tube with a Kamm-Tail profile to increase the overall stiffness of the bottom bracket shell and head tube by 13.35% and 35.64% respectively, according to the brand. Combined with the ergonomic and aerodynamically optimized Mana cockpit, the bike presents itself as both very elegant and very high-performing.

The Koko also features adjustable compliance thanks to a dual-position saddle clamp configuration that can switch from stiff to soft depending on the rider’s personal needs and/or road conditions.
The use of latex mandrels for the front triangle and a T47 bottom bracket provides a very stiff platform to transfer all the watts you produce into forward motion. Other small details such as Quick-Fit headset spacers, tire clearance up to 32 mm, and vibration-damping seatstays and seatpost make this bike a truly interesting package.

The frame is announced at 1139 g in size M.
The frameset is sold starting from 3499 €.
Complete bikes start at 5000 € with Sram Rival AXS, up to 8390 € with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 (shipping costs not included).
