The Adapt Multi jacket is the result of a collaboration between Santini and Polartec, which began in 2018 to create highly technical cycling apparel.
The keywords for this new garment? Adaptability, comfort, and protection. The Adapt Multi jacket will also be the first in the Santini collection to use the most eco-responsible variant of the Power Shield™ fabric, with its new membrane composed of 48% plant-based raw materials and PFAS-free, meaning without fluorinated chemical substances dangerous for health and the environment.
The choice of Polartec® Power Shield™, the bio-based membrane, is part of Santini’s eco-responsible approach initiated years ago. With the Adapt Multi jacket, Santini is gradually introducing, starting with the Fall/Winter 2023/24 collection, the Polartec® bio-based membrane, which will initially be added to the version with the previously used membrane. The goal is to use this plant-based membrane in all garments made with Polartec fabrics starting from the Fall/Winter 2024/25 collection.
The Santini Adapt Multi jacket is designed to withstand cold and rain. Designed for a temperature range between 0° and +10°C, it helps maintain thermal balance in difficult climatic conditions. This jacket is made of Polartec® Power Shield™, a new membrane made with 48% plant-based raw materials. This bio-based membrane is waterproof (with a water column of 20,000 mm) and breathable, while being able to easily wick away excess heat and water vapor to keep the body dry. The fabric chosen for the Adapt Multi jacket weighs 231 g/m².
The internal seams are heat-sealed, with a double zipper on the front, which opens from both the bottom and the top. A fitted jacket that gives the sensation of wearing a jersey, with a reflective band on the shoulder and Santini logo for enhanced safety in low visibility conditions, and an additional pocket with a waterproof zipper. Four colors are available: black, neon green, neon orange, and burgundy.
