The Zwift Games are open to all, offering a simple qualification path to the Zwift Games Elite Finals and the chance to be crowned Zwift Games Champion. Qualification races will take place in late February 2024, while the Zwift Games Elite Finals will be held during the first two weeks of March 2024. The Zwift Games will crown male and female champions in three disciplines, as well as overall male and female champions. Winners will also share the largest prize purse ever awarded by Zwift.

To give Zwifters a glimpse into the future of E-sports cycling, Zwift will also host demonstration races showcasing the latest innovations in Zwift racing.

For the first time, any Zwifter from around the world can register for any Championship event and experience the thrill of competition. Zwifters who wish to participate in the Zwift Games without aiming for the world champion title can register for community events linked to each championship. This open competition promises to make the Zwift Games the most unifying cycling competition ever organized.

The Zwift Games will include the following three races: The Sprint Championship: This race incorporates the best elements of the Zwift Battle Royale implemented for the 2023 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships. A true challenge for the best sprinters, who will have to tackle several consecutive events on varied courses – including a number of new routes on Zwift. Qualifications will be open to all Zwift riders, with the best of them advancing to the final.

The Epic Championship: This is the race for Zwift’s most enduring athletes, those who love long-distance events. This grueling race will be at least 60 km long and will test the endurance of all competitors. The race will use Watopia’s new coastal road as well as a new route. An epic community event will take place simultaneously with the championship; any Zwifter can participate in either of these events without having to qualify, which will undoubtedly bring to life the largest esports cycling event ever organized worldwide!

The Hill Climb Championship: Since its opening in 2018, the Alpe de Zwift has been a Zwift landmark and a must-do for the more than 600,000 Zwifters who have ridden its 21 hairpin turns and climbed to its summit. During the Zwift Games, Zwift racing “chamois” will have the chance to ride this icon from bottom to top and definitively demonstrate who is the best esports climber. Given the number of riders expected, records will fall on this legendary course! And for those who want to tackle the climb in a group but don’t intend to race, Zwift is setting up a challenge for its community. Other iconic Zwift climbs, of varying difficulty levels, complete the challenge.
