Thanks to an innovative production process designed in-house by MET, each helmet is different from the next. A similar shimmering pattern varies from helmet to helmet, making your helmet truly individual. The Trenta 3K Carbon design is made up of separate polycarbonate shells, with an unlimited combination of these shells creating unique design pieces.
Hair Vent
We can all picture the distinctive image of Tadej’s tufts of hair poking out from the top of his helmet. It’s part of his unique myth. But what if we told you they are created by the helmet’s performance design, sweeping air inwards and upwards and pulling dancing hair strands through the vents?
The Logo Story
Tadej Pogačar’s official logo was designed in-house at MET. The logo is the result of the name and monogram which is the central element of the athlete’s visual communication system. The initials of the name “T” and “P” are simplified with an agile and dynamic shape identifying him and symbolically embodying his activities, achievements, goals, and signature tufts.
3K Carbon Technology
The construction of the MET Trenta 3K Carbon Mips® is the highest level on the market. The R&D team leveraged the elastic modulus of carbon fiber which allows for a 20% reduction in EPS foam density, without affecting the helmet’s ability to absorb energy. The result is a lightweight yet higher-performing shell that sets a new standard in ventilated helmet design.
MIPS AIR ® – Brain Protection System
MET never compromises on safety or performance. By adding Mips AIR® technology, the brand has integrated the lightest and most advanced rotational management system into the padding. Mips AIR® was specifically developed and designed to be the lightest possible system to reduce rotational energies transferred to the head during specific angled impacts. Unlike traditional Mips cages, Mips AIR® is integrated into the Trenta 3k Carbon’s padding and allows for a relative movement of 10-15 mm between the energy-absorbing layer and the padding.
