Designed for road, gravel, mountain biking, or urban riding in intense cold, the season’s innovations ensure performance and protection for those who want to cycle all year round.

Very wet conditions or freezing cold can be intimidating, but they shouldn’t stop cyclists from going out. Well-arranged, especially with specific layering depending on the intensity of the activity, the collection has the power to motivate them to continue training. It allows them to manage the cold and optimize warmth, creating new opportunities to ride.
Regarding clothing and the challenges posed by variable weather, Karin Johansson, R&D Manager for materials at POC, explains: “Nothing beats the satisfaction of facing the elements during a long ride in wet, windy, and muddy conditions. Whether mountain biking or road cycling, with the right combination of technical clothing, you can stay warm and dry in cold weather, creating new opportunities to go out on your bike.”

Staying warm and perfectly visible during winter rides is essential. Visibility is a fundamental component of POC’s protection and safety offering. POC’s Head of Apparel, Monica Lindstrom, states: “We wanted to deepen the range with more pieces that inspire cyclists and give them confidence to ride safely in all conditions. From experience, we know that the best bike rides are sometimes those when the weather is least inviting. Living in Sweden allows us to particularly understand the effects of cold and the importance of visibility for safety.”

Developed to offer warm protection and optimize visibility, the collection uses specific colors to be identifiable in all conditions. It promotes proactivity based on the principle that “the best protection is to avoid accidents.”
While outdoor winter cycling is a special experience offering a unique perspective, some cyclists prefer to train indoors for reasons of time, efficiency, or to pursue specific goals. Virtual races and the appeal of a warm workout are also reasons to stay home.
POC’s indoor collection, designed to optimize indoor training sessions and boost performance, uses extremely breathable materials. It is designed for the precise position of indoor cycling and its intensity. Regarding the range, Monica Lindstrom, Head of Apparel for POC, states: “While seemingly static, intense indoor sessions are very dynamic. They require a specific cut, weight, and breathability, which we have taken into account in the indoor collection.”

Seasonal Colors
The color range offered by the collection continues POC’s objective of evolving the color palette by building on existing tones. This more responsible approach allows cyclists to match products from current and past seasons. Thus, models can be used for many years.
