New BH iAerolight launch

The BH iAerolight is the result of BH’s experience in competition combined with its cutting-edge technology in the electric bike segment. So similar to the BH Aerolight that you’ll have trouble telling them apart. The new BH iAerolight is thus light, integrated, and aerodynamic, with added power.

An aerodynamic and lightweight frame

The first thing you notice about the BH iAerolight is its frame, which benefits from all of BH’s experience in carbon technology and use. Its style, HCIM manufacturing process, and chosen fibers are designed to achieve the most competitive weight possible while offering the necessary stiffness for an electric bike. Both have been brilliantly achieved. The 1400 g displayed on the scale are remarkable for a frame capable of withstanding the additional stresses generated by a motor in addition to those exerted by the rider.

Integration: an essential feature

Integration is already a key element found in all new BH models. This characteristic is present in the new iAerolight. Thanks to the ACR system and internal cable routing, all cables are hidden inside the frame to improve its aerodynamics and appearance.

Furthermore, the seat clamp is also fully integrated into the frame’s shape, and the superb one-piece carbon handlebar and stem blend perfectly with the lines of the head tube, giving the BH iAerolight a remarkable and clean look.

Specific quick releases, with a retractable lever, are also used, allowing wheels to be removed without any tools.

This integration also extends to other components such as the Planck taillight, essential for improving road safety and installed on the seat tube using a quick, tool-free magnetic system.

In terms of assistance, it features the iAerolight Heart system: the battery level and assistance mode are displayed using a system of colored LEDs. A single button allows you to switch between different assistance modes. Thanks to its connectivity with the Garmin system, all additional information is accessible via GPS.

Note that the assistance modes and LED colors can be configured via the BH iConnect app.

Aerodynamics, a priority

Aerodynamics is the cornerstone of the new BH iAerolight’s design. Its very name reflects this, and because all its components are fully integrated, the more wind there is, the better it performs.

The Kamm Tail shape of the tubes allows air to flow around the frame without slowing the bike down. Furthermore, the Air Bow fork not only adds a touch of style to its look, but it is another key factor in this model’s aerodynamic performance.

2nd generation BH2EXMAG motor

The BH iAerolight is equipped with the second-generation BH2EXMAG motor, a motor that has proven itself on other models in the BH range and impresses with its small size, light weight, and low noise level.

Its assistance is very smooth and natural, which further enhances the feeling obtained at the handlebars of the BH iAerolight, of having a traditional bike in your hands. With a power of 250 W and a maximum torque of 65 Nm, the extra power makes all the difference when tackling the most difficult terrain. And when you pedal above 25 km/h, no additional friction is felt.

The battery, integrated into the down tube, has a capacity of 410 Wh, offering a range of up to 130 km. And to go even further, the use of an additional XPro battery, with its easy and quick connection system, will provide you with an extra 180 Wh. Thus, with 590 Wh, you will enjoy an estimated range of up to 180 km.

With the BH iConnect app, you can customize the assistance levels and access all the basic settings of the BH2EXMAG motor.

The BH iAerolight is available in 3 versions, from €7699.9 to €10999.9, and in five original colors. Furthermore, each model is eligible for the BH UNIQUE frame customization program.
