The best wheel for riding unpredictable roads is one you can trust and forget about. That’s the Allroad S. An ideal choice for Gravel rides, road outings, bike trips, or fast daily commutes, it now features a wider rim (25 mm internal width) to accommodate the current trend for wider tires.
The lightweight aluminum rims are very wide (25 mm internal width) and compatible with tubeless tires from 30 to 64 mm, for a smooth and efficient ride quality. Mavic’s UST system has been improved with a new rim bed shape that makes tire installation and changes easier than ever. Fore technology keeps the rim perfectly airtight, so no adhesive rim tape is needed. No reliability or maintenance worries, no extra weight.
The Infinity hub platform optimizes spoke lacing with highly controlled tension for maximum power transfer, and the Instant Drive 360 freehub, combined with automatic bearing preload adjustment (QRM Auto), offers fast engagement, increased stiffness, and durability.
The matte painted hubs, invisible rim welds, and deep black spokes give this wheelset a premium look that stands out.
The wheels are compatible with Center Lock disc brakes and are available with Shimano or SRAM XD-Road freehub bodies and can be converted to Campagnolo Ekar with an optional freehub body. The front hub is a 12 mm thru-axle that can be converted to 15 mm or quick release. The rear hub is 12×142 and can also be converted to quick release if needed.
