Based on the same design that carried Mathieu van der Poel to victory at the 2023 Cyclocross World Championships, Canyon’s new Inflite CFR models now feature internal cable routing, super-efficient Ceramic Speed bearings, and a clean-profile aerodynamic cockpit with 40 mm width adjustment to elevate your cyclocross performance to a whole new level.
Canyon Inflite – the pros’ choice
In the decisive moments of their careers, when everything is on the line, the best cyclocross racers choose the Inflite. It’s the most iconic bike in the field, raced to glory by a who’s who of the discipline’s biggest names – including Mathieu van der Poel, Puck Pieterse, Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado, Zoe Bäckstedt, and Maghalie Rochette.

Mathieu van der Poel, who has won four cyclocross world championships on the Inflite, raves about the bike: “The Inflite’s handling is beautifully predictable… That’s something I really appreciate in a race bike,” says the discipline’s top athlete. Add to that Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado’s 2020 World Championship titles, Puck Pieterse’s 2023 Dutch Championship title, and multiple UCI World Cup victories, and the Inflite becomes a benchmark for all other bikes.
Full cable integration – the cleanest lines on the course
With the new Inflite CFR featuring full cable integration for the first time, modern cyclocross’s most iconic bike has never looked cleaner. A revised fork and an adjustable CP0018 Aerocockpit route all cables, so you can seamlessly shoulder the bike and gain an undeniable competitive advantage on cyclocross courses.
Adjustable handling
With 40 mm of width adjustment in three distinct positions and 15 mm of height adjustment without having to cut the steerer tube, riders can easily adapt the Inflite CFR’s adjustable CP0018 Aerocockpit to meet the demands of their next race – wider for more leverage on tight courses, narrower for aerodynamic gains. And athletes can switch between configurations as often as they like, as the cockpit is quick and simple to adjust.
The best components available
The Inflite CFR is a bike for world championships, and at the highest level, only the best components are accepted. That’s why all Inflite CFR bikes come factory-equipped with premium Ceramic Speed bottom bracket bearings for lasting, fast performance – complemented by component sets that spare no expense.
The Shimano-equipped Inflite CFR Di2 Team (€7,499) features Shimano’s latest and greatest 12-speed 9200 series Dura-Ace Di2 derailleur with a 36/46 cross-optimized crankset and an 11-34 cassette, high-end DT Swiss CRC 1100 Spline carbon wheels, a Rotor Aldhu 24 Inspider crank-integrated power meter, and Canyon’s shock-absorbing S14 carbon comfort seatpost.

The Inflite CFR Team LTD (€7,499) is equipped with a SRAM Red wireless system (40-tooth chainring, 10-36 cassette), a Quarq crank-integrated power meter, the same DT Swiss CRC 1100 wheels, and the same finishing kit as the Inflite CFR Di2 Team.
A new look
The 2024 Inflite range also features a new pro-inspired color palette, including an exclusive Team Alpecin-Deceuninck color on the Inflite CFR Di2 Team, adding a touch of World Cup style to its efficiency.
Inflite CF SLX and CF SL – pro design for amateurs
In addition to the two professional Inflite CFR models, two CF SLX bikes and one CF SL bike make the Inflite’s benchmark performance available to aspiring racers, from beginner to elite level.
The SRAM Force eTap AXS-equipped Inflite CF SLX 8 eTap (€4,999) and the Ultegra Di2-equipped Inflite CF SLX 8 Di2 (€5,499) both feature high-end power meters from Quarq and Rotor, are built around the ultra-light Inflite CF SLX frame, and roll on deep-profile DT Swiss CRC 1400 Spline wheels to deliver elite race-worthy speed.

The Inflite CF SL 7 eTap, arguably the best value available today for a cyclocross bike, is equipped with a SRAM Rival eTap AXS setup, a Quarq power meter, DT Swiss CRC 1600 Spline carbon wheels, and an H31 cockpit, in a package designed for aspiring racers looking to take their riding to the next level.

Available September 28
The full Inflite CFR and CF SLX ranges will launch on Thursday, September 28, on canyon.com. Cyclocross fans can also see the Inflite in action by watching the UCI Cyclocross World Cup, where riders like Mathieu van der Poel, Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado, Puck Pieterse, Zoe Bäckstedt, and Maghalie Rochette will showcase its exceptional capabilities on the international stage.
