Trek Launches All-New Domane AL

Trek today launches the fourth generation of the Domane AL, an aluminum road bike combining performance, versatility, and long-distance comfort, with a lightweight frame design whose qualities exceed what its price tag might suggest.

Trek’s best-selling Domane AL benefits from improved versatility and comfort, increased tire clearance suitable for both asphalt and gravel, a modern and sleek style, and integrations typically found on higher-end models. All in a lighter package.

Tame all roads

The new 38 mm (measured) tire clearance allows you to comfortably venture on asphalt as well as on secondary roads and most gravel tracks.

Aluminum meets lightweight carbon

Thanks to its revised 100 Series Alpha Aluminum frame and new carbon fork, the new Domane AL sheds approximately 250 g compared to the previous Domane AL Disc.

Mounts for essential accessories

With its rack, fender, and frame bag mounts, the Domane AL is the ideal bike for daily commutes as well as weekend group rides.

Modern handlebar, refined integration

The new Domane AL cockpit features a modernized road handlebar, offering improved ergonomics and control, with a shorter reach and a 4 mm flare between the hoods and the drops. The new internal cable routing, meanwhile, allows for refined integration typically found on higher-end models.

Universal Derailleur Hanger (what!?)

For the very first time, the Domane AL features a new thru-axle, compatible with the Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH). The UDH is the derailleur hanger found on Trek’s mountain bikes: it allows riders to enjoy cross-category compatibility for all their uses.
