Starting in Barcelona on Saturday, August 26, the 2023 Vuelta returns to tradition: an almost entirely Spanish route and a final finish on September 17 in Madrid. Seven mountain stages and ten high-altitude finishes punctuate the 21 stages before that, with an incursion into France for the finish of the 13th stage at the summit of the Col du Tourmalet and a start the next day for the 14th stage from Sauveterre-de-Béarn. The Angliru is also on the program for the 17th stage, as well as two time trials, one team time trial in Barcelona (Stage 1) and one individual time trial in Valladolid (Stage 10). In total, the peloton will cover a distance of 3,153.8 km. To follow the race closely, find the maps, profiles, stage climbs, and TV broadcast schedules for the 78th edition of the Tour of Spain.
