For its second edition in 2023, “The Cycling Event,” the mountain cycling event in partnership with Specialized, based on discovering the Courchevel area in a private and human-scale setting, is expanding its offering to include road cycling.
For this second edition, a road event (well, not only…) is being launched, allowing all lovers of the little queen to discover the mythical climb of the Col de La Loze, but also a new pass opened especially for the occasion. An alternation of asphalt sections and Italian-style paths: welcome to the Col de la Platta, which culminates at over 2403 meters above sea level.
Building on the values established during the first edition, a day-pass option is available, as well as a “VIP” package with accommodation (2 nights) and meals, allowing you to discover the Courchevel mountains in the best possible conditions. This offer even includes the discovery of electric mountain biking on the resort’s most beautiful trails.
Some great champions are expected to be potentially present over the weekend, as well as a brand village at the foot of the hotel.
This “Challenge of the 2 Passes” is a sportive ride. A ranking will be established based on the cumulative time of the two ascents, measured using the Strava application.
