Today, Trek introduces its all-new Solstice helmet, bringing a clean style and the Mips safety system to the brand’s most popular helmet. Designed with an eye toward optimal value for money, the new Solstice Mips helmet combines elegance and all-terrain capabilities to suit all uses and blur the lines between disciplines.
The Solstice Mips helmet features a lightweight structure with large vents to provide optimal cooling in any weather, and the Trek Headmaster 3 system allows the rider to adjust the helmet to the correct size with one hand, for an easy and secure fit. The comfortable and removable pads, meanwhile, absorb perspiration and can be easily washed after long bike rides.
The new Solstice helmet uses a Mips safety system to protect the rider from rotational forces encountered in certain falls. The helmet achieved a maximum 5-star rating in Virginia Tech’s safety test, proving that the best protection doesn’t necessarily come at the highest price.
Trek Solstice Mips helmets will be available from July 6th through the global network of Trek retailers.
