Trek unveils eight new Project One ICON paint schemes for its men’s and women’s professional road cycling teams.
Each of these unique designs, launched just in time for this year’s Tour de France, will be used by a different rider in the most prestigious Grand Tour.
With Project One ICON, customers can experience the same exceptional quality and performance as professional riders. These new colorways are available now on Trek’s lightest and most aerodynamic models: the Émonda SLR and the Madone SLR.
Each design is hand-painted using special processes to create unique and unreproducible designs. No two Project One ICON frames are identical.
The new designs:
Chroma Ultra-Iridescent (limited edition)
The Chroma Ultra-Iridescent design is the result of several years of experimentation combined with the artistic vision of Project One’s most prized master painters. Such a sumptuous finish requires a certain level of expertise. Its top-secret recipe, moreover, is kept behind closed doors.

Chroma Diamond Flake (limited edition)
Millions and millions of microscopic chrome flakes make up this splendid design. No two diamonds are alike, and this limited edition design will offer athletes a dream mount sparkling with a thousand lights.

Real Smoke (Cerulean Mist, Red Smolder, and White Ash)
Real Smoke is a hazy, hand-painted design that uses fire as its main ingredient. Each frame traps smoke in its base paint layers for a design burning with intensity.

Crystalline (Blue Prismatic and Viper Frost)
These unique designs are composed by incorporating thousands of tiny crystals into sparkling networks. Based on the famous natural phenomenon that inspired us, each Crystalline bike is as unique as a snowflake.

Team Tie Dye
This unique team-colored design complements the six Tie Dye colorways currently available in Project One and launched earlier this year.

The Project One configurator is available online on the Trek website and through the global network of Trek retailers.
