The third edition of Nature is Bike, the Gravel and Bike Adventure Festival, was a real success despite capricious weather on the last day.
2100 registrants were able to venture on 7 events throughout the 825 cumulative km of routes crisscrossing 126 communes, 5 departments and 3 regions.
From simple family exploration to personal achievements on the ultra-distance event, everyone was able to live their adventure and enrich themselves with a memorable experience rich in emotions. 500 riders set off on the mythical 327 km ultra-distance event, Gravel of Legend-Legendre, the first of whom crossed the finish line in 12h 55min and 45 seconds and the last in 21h21 of effort, arriving at 3:21 in the morning!

9 nationalities, 63 departments represented, Angers has become the capital of Gravel in just 3 editions! Nature is Bike thus reinforces its status as a European Gravel Festival, as evidenced by the victory of the Englishwoman Katherine Sheridan, the first woman to win the Race200 Panaracer.
Throughout the weekend, the Gravel and Bike Adventure Show, with free access and open to all, for the first time at Lac de Maine in Angers, welcomed more than 6000 visitors around its 92 partners and exhibitors! An opportunity to discover Gravel trends, including the official launch of the Commencal Gravel range and the limited editions of the Panaracer Gravel King tire range.
For the first time this year, a large test area was set up around the Gravel show, allowing enthusiasts to exclusively test new Gravel products, such as the Specialized Diverge STR. Nearly 500 bike tests were carried out over the entire weekend.

The quality of the program led the public to discover Gravel practice through meet-and-greet coffees, to prepare well for their bike trip, preserve nature, and also to attend a fascinating round table with speakers with extraordinary backgrounds who shared their real-life challenges and their taste for effort, such as Jérôme Cousin (former professional cyclist), Romain Attanasio (skipper on the Vendée Globe) or Nicolas Asselin from the Legendre Group.
Thierry Gintrand, event organizer, declares: “Unique in France, Nature is Bike, the Gravel and Bike Adventure Festival, is above all a human adventure! Each of the 6000 festival-goers was able to live their own experience and the numerous testimonials we receive reflect the emotions shared throughout the weekend. Thank you to all those who make this adventure possible.”
