The road races of the 2023 French Cycling Championships will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25, in Cassel, Pas-de-Calais. The circuit is particularly demanding with two climbs on the program: the cobbled climb of Porte de Dunkerque (1.9 km at 4%) and the climb of Porte d’Aire (1.2 km at 8%). Professional riders will cover 224 kilometers, with over 4000 meters of positive elevation gain. Julian Alaphilippe (Soudal-Quick Step) appears to be the strong favorite.
