Whether on a road bike, gravel bike, city/trekking bike, mountain bike, or e-bike: thanks to its numerous map navigation functions, the ROX 12.1 EVO will always lead you on the best route to your destination safely. It records a lot of data, allows you to analyze your ride in detail at any time, and takes training to the next level.

Excellent navigation and simplified route planning

Whether you want to go mountain biking in the hills or plan a multi-day gravel trip in the mountains – the ROX 12.1 EVO will delight you with its multiple navigation functions and reliably guide you to your destination. SIGMA’s unique mapping style highlights bike paths and trails and will always direct you on the best route, regardless of your location, practice, and route preferences. Maps from around the world and regular updates can be downloaded free of charge via WiFi.

With the ROX 12.1 EVO, tour planning also becomes child’s play. You are offered a choice between three different routes (recommended route, easiest, and shortest) and you can even individually define your route preferences. During the ride, the ROX 12.1

EVO clearly displays the route and turn-by-turn directions on its 3-inch transflective screen and warns of an imminent change of direction with a pop-up window and an audible signal. Tracks can be easily created directly from the ROX 12.1 EVO, the SIGMA DATA CENTER, or the SIGMA RIDE app. They can also be imported from third-party portals such as Strava and Komoot or downloaded as a .gpx file into the SIGMA RIDE app. Tracks can then be viewed clearly at any time, synchronized with the ROX 12.1 EVO, and launched.

Very high degree of customization freedom

With six predefined sport profiles and up to 20 individually configurable sport profiles, the ROX 12.1 EVO is ready for any bike ride.

Within each sport profile, training overviews, route preferences, and alarms can be customized. You can choose from a multitude of functions. You can very easily create and customize your sport profiles directly from the ROX 12.1 EVO or in the SIGMA RIDE app, even during training. The six data pages of the ROX 12.1 EVO offer great freedom of customization: they can be individually configured and you can color the different data fields. In addition, specific data pages for training, navigation, FE-C Smart Trainers, and laps are available on the ROX 12.1 EVO. The ROX 12.1 EVO helps to achieve structured training. The main training programs are already pre-installed. Training sessions from third-party portals such as TrainingPeaks can also be very easily imported onto the ROX 12.1 EVO via the SIGMA RIDE app.

Ultra-efficient e-bike and external sensor compatibility

The ROX 12.1 EVO can connect to many e-bikes and will accompany you on all your rides. Once connected, it displays e-bike specific values such as range, battery status, or assistance mode. The ROX 12.1 EVO even shows you the gear change recommendation, to allow you to save your energy and the e-bike battery.

It is also possible to quickly and easily connect external sensors such as speed, cadence, or heart rate, via ANT+ and Bluetooth. The ROX 12.1 EVO can also be connected to a radar, an electronic derailleur, or a power meter.

Intuitive user interface and Smart Notifications

Its five buttons, touch screen, and modern, clean design make the ROX 12.1 EVO very simple and intuitive to use. The optimized typography ensures very good readability. The quick menu and favorites menu are quickly accessible with a simple swipe of the screen. The device’s performance makes the map display very fluid and pleasant. Display changes, zooming in and out, and route calculation and recalculation are very responsive and fluid. If the connection with the Smartphone is established, smart notifications are displayed on the ROX 12.1 EVO during the ride. Incoming calls, messages, and emails are automatically indicated on the screen. Messages can even be read directly on the ROX 12.1 EVO, and if your friends and family send you emojis to motivate you, they will also be displayed on the screen.

Constantly safe thanks to crash alert

The integrated crash detection ensures your safety during the ride. It automatically detects falls and gives you 30 seconds to confirm that everything is fine. If not, the SIGMA RIDE app automatically sends an SMS with your GPS data to your emergency contacts, previously entered in the app.

Statistics and Strava Live Segments

Data analysis can be done either on the ROX 12.1 EVO or on the Smartphone. Thanks to a Bluetooth connection, you can transfer your data from the ROX 12.1 EVO to the SIGMA RIDE app and thus analyze them in detail and keep an eye on your statistics from the last weeks, months, or even years. The SIGMA RIDE app, the intelligent companion of the ROX 12.1 EVO, also allows you to customize your computer even more easily, manage your tracks imported from different platforms, and transfer them to the ROX 12.1 EVO.

In addition to graphical profiles by value, for example for power or heart rate, a heat map displays your performance on the course in different colors. You can quickly share your data, successes, and tracks on your favorite social networks or sports communities.

The SIGMA RIDE app allows you to transfer Strava Live Segments to the ROX 12.1 EVO. The ROX 12.1 EVO then warns you when you approach a segment loaded on the device and when it begins.
