A new jersey for Team Bahrain Victorious for the Tour de France

The prestigious World Tour team has unveiled the jersey its athletes will wear at the Tour de France starting July 1st. The design is inspired by Bahrain’s long tradition of pearl diving and processing. The kit, made by Alé, is part of the PR-S collection that the Verona-based brand dedicates to professional cycling.

Team Bahrain Victorious has unveiled the new design that will characterize its Alé kit for the upcoming Tour de France.

The pearl-inspired design pays homage to Bahrain’s rich history of collecting and processing this precious stone. Known as the “Pearl of the Gulf,” Bahrain has a great heritage rooted in the flourishing pearl industry. Pearl harvesting and processing have in fact been the backbone of Bahrain’s economy for centuries, a thriving commercial center.

The pearl-inspired design characterizes the new jersey and matching bib shorts, manufactured by Alé, the team’s partner. The garments are part of the PR-S collection, which the Verona-based brand dedicates to professional cycling. Cutting-edge aerodynamic research, high-tech fabrics, flat and riveted seams, a racing fit, and ergonomics characterize the new jersey. An extremely lightweight garment that will offer the team’s cyclists great breathability and comfort.

The elegant design does not only apply to the team’s livery: it is also found on the Merida bikes, Rudy Project helmets, and Elite water bottles. Based on shades of pearl gray, the new graphics capture the natural beauty and elegance of these precious stones. The teal accents on the chest, sleeves, and socks symbolize the waters surrounding Bahrain.

Team Bahrain Victorious will present its new kit at the upcoming Tour de France, which will take place from July 1st to 23rd, 2023.
