After Viré (71) and La Canourgue (48), our participants gathered in Lons-le-Saunier (39) for the Cyclosportive de la Vache qui Rit this Sunday. They came in large numbers to participate in one of the three granfondo routes offered, with a total of 2,140 enthusiasts taking the starts under the Jura sun this morning, a record.
3 ROUTES FOR ALL LEVELS
For the third edition of the Cyclosportive de la Vache qui Rit, the organization offered three routes that awarded points for the Cyclo’Tour Rotor Challenge: 80km & 1,250m of elevation gain for the shortest, 115km & 1,600m of elevation gain for the medium, and 165km & 2,500m of elevation gain for the longest, in which Laurent Jalabert, the event’s patron, participated. The routes traversed the Jura roads, discovering the department’s natural riches such as its vineyards and agricultural and dairy farms. Once again, cyclists were treated to breathtaking scenery!
