The Madone SLR is a light, fast, and aerodynamic competition bike with an innovative design, ideal for an all-rounder rider like Óscar Pereiro. The former professional cyclist chose the Madone SLR for this Project One.

Óscar Pereiro states: “It’s a very responsive and fast bike that incredibly well transmits the speed produced to move forward. Compared to the previous generation Madone, you notice that it’s lighter and gives the feeling of using a fast bike, like a time trial bike, but which climbs very well. Added to this is the back comfort thanks to IsoFlow. Overall, it’s a bike that offers a lot of safety on descents, a lot of speed on the flats, and excellent handling on climbs. It’s very difficult to go slow with such a bike.”

This special edition of the Madone SLR was configured as part of Project One, Trek’s program that allows for customizing a bike’s paint and components, resulting in this astonishing Madone SLR.

Regarding the design, the frame features Brandmark paint, with Trek matte black for the frame and the Trek logo in Tour yellow, and with a “gloss” finish, which gives the bike a simple design that uses the colors of the Tour de France to pay tribute to Óscar Pereiro’s victory in 2006.

This customized bike is equipped with the best technologies, such as the OCLV Series 800 carbon frame and next-generation Kammtail aerodynamic tubes, IsoFlow aerodynamic technology that absorbs road impacts, with internal cable routing, a wireless SRAM Red AXS electronic drivetrain and power meter (48/35, DUB, 172.5 mm), flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes, Bontrager Aeolus RSL 51 tubeless-ready carbon wheels, Bontrager R4 700×25 tires, and a Verse Elite saddle.

The Madone is the ultimate competition bike. The lineage’s heritage comes with a new benchmark in speed. Seven generations later, the Madone SLR is the fastest and lightest disc Madone ever, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with a triple advantage: aerodynamics, handling, and a sleek design. The icing on the cake for this competition-oriented bike, the new IsoFlow technology brings the ultimate advantage in terms of speed and agility.

A machine that combines design, ride quality, and aerodynamics with the smoothness of a wireless SRAM Red AXS electronic drivetrain. And in this Project One version, the final result is even more spectacular.
