GRAK, the carbon fiber Gravel, the latest innovation from C.B.T. Italia

The Piedmontese brand presents a bike with minimalist aesthetics, clean lines, and a frame that combines comfort and performance. C.B.T. Italia announces the launch of the GRAK, its new carbon fiber gravel bike, on the European market. A stylistic exercise characterized by its sinuous tubes and integrated cables, for a bike whose objective is to offer optimal comfort to cyclists, without neglecting performance, which is the hallmark of the Cuneo manufacturer.

Agility and Comfort
The bike offers excellent handling and precise control in turns, making it enjoyable even for less experienced gravel riders.
The shapes and sections of the tubes are designed to mitigate the stresses caused by the terrain and provide absolute comfort to cyclists. These solutions aim to promote vibration absorption thanks to the special frame design and the orientation of the carbon fibers.

The result is a particularly pleasant bike to handle, offering stability and a sense of security even in the most delicate situations.
The saddle position itself is designed to allow the back and neck to be more relaxed, to maximize enjoyment during long-distance rides.

Carbon Fiber Frame for “Off-Road Endurance”
Given its characteristics, the GRAK can be considered an “off-road endurance” bike, a condensed version of the strengths of two worlds.
The GRAK also features mounts for attaching pannier racks, offering maximum freedom for cyclists and bikepacking enthusiasts.
The frame is a T700 UD-HM carbon monocoque, with graphene and Kevlar® reinforcements in the most stressed areas and aerodynamic profiles.
It weighs only 9.250 kg in size 52.
The GRAK has its place among the specialties offered by the Piedmontese brand. A bike that is both agile and fast, but which does not deprive cyclists of the pleasure of off-road riding, even on the most rugged courses.

Bike Assembly
High-performance SRAM Centerline 2P 160 mm rotors combined with Continental Terra Trail 700×40C tires ensure safe braking, regardless of the type of terrain.
The SRAM groupset and other made-in-Italy components complete the equipment: a Deda Gera Alloy handlebar, a seatpost and seat tube from the same brand, a Selle Italia Model X saddle, and Fulcrum Rapid Red 900 wheels.

Also Available as a Frameset
The GRAK is already available in five different sizes, from 45 to 56. Sizes 49, 52, and 54 complete the geometries.
Prices vary depending on the two equipment options (one with the SRAM Apex 1 HRD groupset and the other with the SRAM Rival 1 HRD groupset) between €3110 and €3320.
In addition to the complete bike, the GRAK is available as a frameset, with fork, headset, and spacers, at a price of €1499.
