My Canyon, My Ride, Connected: Canyon Announces a Brand-New Mobile App

Stress-free riding. That’s how cycling should be. And now, Canyon is bringing the simple joy of riding to more people than ever before with the new Canyon App. A pocket partner that empowers everyone to get the most out of their Canyon bike.

Simply put, the Canyon App uses the latest mobile technology to give riders the support they need, at their fingertips and on demand when they need it.

Lionel Guicherd-Callin, Global Director Canyon Connected, explains the philosophy behind the app: “We created the Canyon App to simplify and streamline every step of owning and riding a Canyon, and to help riders get the most out of their bike. With a range of features that make every part of setting up, riding, maintaining, and parking their Canyon bike joyful and effortless.”

KEY FEATURES AT A GLANCE:

Your bike’s specs and measurements at a glance: digital bike garage

Simply load your Canyon bikes into the app’s digital garage for an overview of curated content – including assembly and setup guides, specs, and frame measurements – for those specific models. It’s the easiest way to access all relevant content and information for your bike.

Unpack your bike and ride in minutes: easy-to-follow assembly guides

With detailed step-by-step videos and guides, unpacking and assembling the bike is as simple as building a cabinet. No special mechanical skills or prior knowledge required. You don’t need to be a mechanic to enjoy a smooth, safe, and well-tuned ride on your new bike.

Keep your bike in top condition: easy-to-understand maintenance guides

You’ll be up to date and replacing tires, brakes, and chains in no time with the app’s practical guides, videos, and tutorials. A well-maintained bike is a safe and enjoyable bike to ride. Learn how to clean your bike after an intense ride. Learn how to maintain your bike on the go. Find out when and how to replace certain parts to ensure the safety of your ride. The app contains everything you need to keep your bike in perfect condition.

Park with confidence: global GPS tracking

Recovering a stolen bike just got a lot easier. For added security and peace of mind, you can pair certain Canyon bikes – starting with the new Spectral:ON – with the app to track the bike’s location. Park and lock, just enjoy your day worry-free.

Additional features, and even more to come

But that’s not all. In addition to other features available at launch – including simple and fast bike insurance (coming end of May) and motivating content from Canyon’s professional riders – Canyon is at the beginning of an ambitious development roadmap that will see a wide range of new features added over the coming months and years.
The Canyon App is free and available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
