Varia eRTL615: the first Garmin rear radar specifically designed for e-bikes

Garmin introduces the Varia eRTL615, its first radar with a taillight specifically designed for e-bikes. The Varia eRTL615 does not have a battery: it plugs directly into a compatible e-bike and can inform the cyclist of approaching vehicles by emitting visual and audible alerts2 when paired with certain Garmin devices or the Varia app via a compatible smartphone.

– Maximum awareness: When paired with an Edge bike computer, certain Garmin smartwatches or with the Varia app available on smartphones, the Varia eRTL615 offers maximum awareness with audible and visual alerts that warn cyclists of approaching vehicles from behind up to 140 meters away.

– Excellent visibility: the Varia eRTL615 alerts other road users to the presence of a cyclist as soon as possible with a taillight visible from over 1.6 km away in daylight, and whose flash pattern changes when an approaching vehicle is detected.

– Adjustable light modes: four taillight modes are available for even greater visibility to drivers in any situation (solid, peloton, night flash, and day flash).
