Since the beginning of the season, the Israel-Premier Tech team has been sporting a kit that pays tribute to its Canadian sponsor. The jersey adopted the special “100th anniversary” colors of its main partner, Premier Tech. To celebrate the centenary of its creation, Élie Desgreniers created a “100” logo composed of a festive pink, a boundless blue, and a passionate tangerine. As the first Grand Tour of the year approaches, the scenery changes…!
A few days before the 106th edition of the Giro d’Italia, the Israeli team, which dreams of wearing the Maglia Rosa during the 3 weeks of racing, today presents its 2023 Vintage jersey.
For the occasion, the pink of the original Israel Premier-Tech team jersey gives way to a “wine red” symbolizing the Abruzzo region, renowned for its excellent grape varieties and the starting point of this Giro. This special color highlights another sponsor, the wine producer VINI FANTINI, based in the same region. The rings on the left sleeve subtly evoke wine barrels. The round shapes on the bottom of the jersey are a graphic evocation of grape bunches. The blue of the Adriatic Sea, which borders this sublime Italian region, inspired the shades of blue on the right sleeve.
From the divine color dear to Bacchus to the pink of the winner’s jersey, sometimes it’s just a pedal stroke away…
