From Wednesday, April 20 to Sunday, April 23, more than 250 long-distance cyclists representing 6 nationalities are expected in Chantilly to participate in the Race Across Paris by Van Rysel over one of the 3 distances offered: 300, 500 or 1000 km.
The Race Across Paris by Van Rysel offers 3 distances (300 km, 500 km and 1000 km) with a start/finish from the City of Chantilly and a semi-self-supported format that allows cyclists from very diverse backgrounds to register: “We see many first-time ultra-distance participants on the 300 and 500 km courses. These distances are accessible for regular cyclists or athletes who want to challenge themselves for the first time on an ultra course,” says Arnaud Manzanini, Race Director.
These 3 distances are organized into 3 loops of 200, 300 and 500 km, which will allow riders to pass through the base camp located in Chantilly 1 to 2 times, to benefit from support (rest area, refueling, mechanical assistance, toilets and showers) but also to finish their course on the 300 km loop and meet at the finish. It is possible to start the Race Across Paris by Van Rysel solo, in a duo or in a team of 4.

Challenging and surprising routes
The 1000 km promises to be particularly magnificent with the addition of the 200, 500 and 300 km loops for a total elevation gain of 7810 D+.
Riders will have the pleasure of riding the most beautiful roads in the region with:
- The 200 km loop dedicated to the east of the region (Chantilly, Senlis, Château-Thierry)
- The 300 km loop which allows a complete discovery of the Vexin and the monuments of Paris (La Roche-Guyon, Montmartre, Place du Louvre, Place du Trocadero and Eiffel Tower)
- The 500 km loop which goes around Île-de-France passing through roads in the heart of nature that make us forget the few kilometers separating us from the Capital (Le Pays de Brie, Forêt de Fontainebleau, Parc régional du Gâtinais: land of a thousand clearings and sandstone, Vallée de Chevreuse, Parc régional du Vexin)
Participants in the 500 km will cover the 200 then 300 km loop for an elevation gain of 4120 D+ and the 300 km riders will be on a single loop with an elevation gain of 2440 D+.

A transmission between generations
Eric Leblacher, a French ex-professional cyclist from 2002 to 2006, finisher of Race Across France 2500 km in 2020 and winner of Race Across Paris 1000 km in 2022, will meet about fifty children from the Chantilly leisure center on Wednesday, April 19 at 10 am, to present the event and share his experience. This exchange is part of the deployment of a 100% free educational kit, designed by Race Across to introduce young people to cycling adventure through fun and educational worksheets.

Practical information
The starts and finishes of the races will take place at Parc Watermael-Boitsfort in Chantilly, and will be accessible to the general public:
