The 33-year-old Breton rider had resigned from the Spanish team Zaaf, which was not paying her, despite several good results since the start of the season. Without a team one week before Paris-Roubaix Femmes, she finally joined the American team Human Powered Health, which is fighting this season to remain in the World Tour.

This is not the first difficulty encountered by Audrey Cordon-Ragot in recent months, as she suffered a stroke at the end of September 2022, and then became involved in the incredible story of Jérôme Pineau’s B&B Hotels women’s team, which ultimately never materialized.

“Everything that happens to us in life should serve as a lesson. The one I take away from this is that I will be at the start of Paris-Roubaix on Saturday, with a team that trusts me, in which I already feel very good,” she told France Info, adding “it’s nothing but happiness from now on.”
