Peter Sagan, here during the course reconnaissance on Friday, April 7, 2023, will use a Specialized Roubaix, the specific model for this race dedicated to comfort from the American brand. The Pavé seatpost system provides slight flexibility at the saddle, which enhances comfort. On his Roval Rapide CLX II wheels, Peter Sagan will use 32 mm tubeless tires, which are still in the testing phase. This tire width offers comfort and grip, and allows riding with very low pressure, around 3 bar.The TotalEnergies team is still equipped with the Shimano Dura-Ace 11-speed groupset. Peter Sagan uses 54-46 chainrings at the front for Paris-Roubaix, and an 11-28 cassette. For several years, Peter Sagan has not wanted to participate in this race with Di2 derailleurs, preferring mechanical derailleurs, for a matter of sensitivity and to avoid untimely gear changes on the most severe cobbles.Peter Sagan, here on reconnaissance in the Trouée d’Arenberg on April 7, 2023, also benefits from the Future Shock 1.5 fork, which allows the rider to benefit from adjustable suspension, between cobbled sections and asphalt.Peter Sagan is still as popular as ever.
