Until now, balancing was performed externally, in contact with the air, without a dedicated protocol. Now, XR-ONE® is the technical solution for balancing that is functional, precise, invisible, and long-lasting. XR-ONE® offers a range of benefits that, when combined, make the product indispensable for optimizing wheels on the market. Whether you’re a professional or an amateur, wheel balancing is relevant to all disciplines, from road racing to time trials to off-road riding.
The product comes in two options:
- A wheel-balancing kit designed for home use, making installation a breeze.
- An in-store solution for bicycle professionals, consisting of a specialized machine and a large supply of replacement parts.
XR-ONE® is an innovative balancing system that is fully integrated into the wheel. Invisible, it is concealed on the inner side of the rim. XR-ONE® is a patented device consisting of two distinct components:
- An external balancing device consisting of “SQUARE” self-adhesive patches of a specific mass. These patches allow for precise external pre-balancing; they are designed to be applied to the rim and easily repositioned without leaving any marks on the surface. The self-adhesive patches can be stacked on top of one another to concentrate mass at a single point.
- An internal balancing system consisting of a “BODY” mount that serves as a mounting point and is inserted into the holes at the bottom of the rim. This component is complemented by a set of custom “WEIGHT” weights inserted into the “BODY” to create a mass that is balanced with the compensations pre-set by the external device.
