Trek unveils its all-new cargo bikes, specially designed to help families prioritize cycling as a mode of transport

Life is too short to waste another minute in traffic. It’s much more fun to get around on a stylish electric cargo bike that can carry your kids, pets, groceries, and more.

Today, Trek launches the Fetch+, its brand new range of bikes specially designed for families to leave the car in the garage and choose cycling for their commutes. These electric cargo bikes are designed to transport children, pets, groceries and more, all with the aim of offering customers an ecological, credible and even easy alternative to the car.

Each model features unique functionalities that make it easy to get from point A to point B. For example, Bosch Cargo bikes’ smart drive systems allow you to transform your smartphone into a dashboard, remote control, and information center. Both models also feature sturdy, easy-to-use kickstands to support the bike during loading and unloading, as well as adjustable stems and seatposts to accommodate multiple riders. Whether you choose the longtail electric cargo bike option or the front-loading option that can carry up to five children, the Fetch+ is the best way to get out of the car and see the world.

The all-new Fetch+ 2

The Fetch+ 2 is a compact longtail electric cargo bike that can carry all your belongings, in addition to being fun and simple to use. You can easily transport up to 80 kg in the cargo box thanks to the powerful Bosch motor and flawless steering and stability. This bike is designed to accompany your family for years and offers many configuration options to better meet your evolving needs year after year.

Its frame is a little longer than a classic frame to be able to carry two children and a larger load. Trek has also designed a rear rack to accommodate two child seats and foot protectors to cover the rear wheel.

Panniers can also be installed on the front and rear of this electric cargo bike, plus fenders to further increase load capacity and for riding in all weather conditions. The front and rear panniers and fenders come in four colors to customize the bike to the rider’s style.

And for even more extras, customers can opt for Trek’s family pack, which offers, for example, a safari handlebar for grip, and saddle and backrest cushions for added comfort.

The all-new Fetch+ 4

With its large front cargo box for transporting children or all kinds of loads, the Fetch+ 4 is the two-wheeled cargo bike par excellence. The ultimate car-replacement bike, the Fetch 4+ can carry up to five children plus a substantial load. The Fetch+ 4 comes with two pre-installed seats in the cargo box, equipped with harnesses and seatbelts for added safety. You can also add a bench seat to the front of the Fetch+ 4 to accommodate more children, or install a car seat in the cargo box for younger passengers.

It was designed with a robust cable steering system to improve maneuverability and cornering navigation. For harsher weather conditions, a canopy can be added to fully protect the cargo box and keep passengers dry. The MIK HD rear rack can also be used to install a child seat or other accessories, such as customizable panniers.
