An emblematic figure of the Tour de France, Pierre Rolland recently ended his professional cycling career but has no intention of stepping away from the bike. Climber, adventurer, attacker… Pierre Rolland has always distinguished himself by his committed and exciting style, making him a crowd favorite. Today, we will be able to follow his adventures as a brand ambassador on a Giant bike!

He is one of the most popular French cyclists of his generation. Winner of the best young rider classification in the 2011 Tour de France, he made a lasting impression by raising his arms at the summit of Alpe d’Huez. The following year, he secured another stage victory in La Toussuire. In addition to his performances in the Tour, he finished fourth in the Giro in 2014 and won a stage in the same race in 2017. Performing consistently throughout his 16 years as a professional, he won the polka dot jersey at the Critérium du Dauphiné 2022.

Pierre Rolland and Giant France: what an adventure!

At the dawn of a new chapter in his career, Pierre Rolland created a cycling travel company, Baroudeur Cycling. Resolutely focused on adventure, he will be able to count on Giant to accompany him in this new project:

“I am very happy and very proud to join Giant! Firstly, because I will be able to continue cycling a lot; we have created a cycling travel company with Jérôme Cousin which will allow me to ride Giant bikes in France and in Europe. The bike will remain my tool, but with an idea of exploration and travel.”
