The new Pinarello Nytro E opens up a world of possibilities for discovering cycling!

Pinarello introduces the new NYTRO E bike lineup, designed for all cyclists who want to enjoy the thrill of riding, regardless of their fitness level. It was created in the spirit of adventure, allowing riders to tackle long rides and steep climbs up Alpine passes with greater agility and confidence than a traditional road bike. The Nytro E is available in three versions: road, gravel, and commuter.

The first Nytro used a Fazua Evation motor. For this new model, the Italian brand opted for the new TQ HPR-50 motor, a drive unit packed with features.

First, the HPR-50 is relatively lightweight at 1,850 g for the motor and 3,900 g with the 360 Wh battery and the 2" display integrated into the top tube. Maximum assistance is available through four different assistance levels, with the motor delivering up to 50 Nm of torque and a maximum power output of 300 W.

The claimed range is up to 100 km, or 140 km with an optional 160 Wh range extender. Pinarello notes that the motor’s compact size provides a Q-factor of 135 mm. Most e-bikes with a mid-drive motor have a much wider Q-factor.

The assist limit then depends on each country’s specific regulations, but in Europe, it should cut off at 25 km/h as required by law.

The Nytro E is built around a frame made of Torayca T900 carbon fiber, and the frame weight is listed at 1,130 g.

Iconic Pinarello design, legendary performance

The Nytro E’s design has been meticulously crafted to look just like a traditional bike and draws heavy inspiration from the incomparable Dogma F.

Aerodynamically, the Nytro E is built to fly. The head tube, down tube, and seat stays have been designed to achieve maximum aerodynamic performance. And with Pinarello’s TiCr technology, every cable is routed through the handlebars to minimize drag and create a cleaner, more streamlined design.

The Nytro E features a completely redesigned seatpost area, with a new seatpost clamp fully integrated into the frame, saving 36 g compared to previous models and reducing the overall volume of the area, thereby improving aerodynamics. The E-road frames come with the proven Dogma F seatpost, while the Gravel model is equipped with a traditional seatpost to ensure compatibility with most telescoping seatposts currently on the market.

The frame also features Pinarello’s unique asymmetrical design philosophy, with the left side structured to compensate for the greater force exerted by the drivetrain on the right side. And staying true to its Pinarello DNA: the Onda fork. The fork is designed to absorb vibrations and improve handling performance. Tire clearance on the Nytro E has also been carefully considered. The road models accommodate tires up to 32 mm to
maximize comfort without compromising performance, while the gravel models will accommodate tires up to 50 mm to meet the needs of the most adventurous riders.
