G-SHOCK presents its new connected G-SQUAD watch: lighter and more compact, it features POLAR technology

From cycling to swimming, strength training, and running, the GBD-H2000, weighing just 63 grams, adapts to all types of training and sports. The watch is available in 4 variations.

Equipped with GPS functionality and 6 sensors allowing it to cover a variety of movements, the GBD-H2000 is 38% lighter than its predecessor, the GBD-H1000. This is made possible by a more compact case integrating a GPS antenna, and with a carbon fiber reinforced back. This also contributes to an even more comfortable fit on the wrist. The new watch features an optical sensor to measure heart rate, as well as a compass, an altitude/barometric pressure sensor, a thermal sensor, an accelerometer, and a gyroscope to detect body movements.

The integrated GPS functionality measures position, distance, and travel speed, all of which allow for tracking a wide variety of movements in real time during physical activity.

The GBD-H2000 displays current performance and physical condition, based on the analysis of various data measured in real time, in an easy-to-read format. It uses the POLAR® library, a database known for heart rate-focused training analysis. Training effectively and efficiently is then possible thanks to scientifically supported and highly reliable analysis results.

Coupled with the CASIO WATCHES application, the user can then access their training data in more detail, such as GPS tracking, heart rate monitor, as well as smart functions like notifications and step counter.

Time display is powered solely by solar charging, even when the battery is low.*

*When charged approximately eight hours a day under indoor artificial lighting (500 lux), and charged by a window on a sunny day for two hours a week (10,000 lux).

  • ENERGY EXPENDITURE: Calculation of carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids as a percentage of calories burned to determine energy intake during training periods and adjust training intensity to help users achieve their goals.
  • SLEEP RECOVERY LEVEL: Sleep tracking assesses users’ ability to mentally and physically recover overnight after training sessions. The CASIO WATCHES app provides more detailed information and advice.
