Oakley’s new film takes the viewer along to show the science of Prizm in action, bringing out the details that make it a truly revolutionary technology. Team Oakley athletes Sage Kotsenburg, Colby Stevenson, Cory Williams, and Sage Erickson put Prizm to the test, and all have their “WTF” moment, eyes wide open and amazed by the live impact of Prizm. On the mountain as on the road, each athlete excels with Prizm lens technology. Oakley invites consumers to try Prizm and experience their own “WTF” moment by enjoying the real benefits it provides.

The result of decades of extensive laboratory and field testing, Prizm lens technology enhances details to offer a color adjustment designed for specific environments and adapting colors to eliminate distractions. Prizm lenses bring out the details that need to be seen and reduce superfluous details.

In short, they enhance the experience whatever it may be.

– Snowboarder Sage Kotsenburg wears Prizm Snow Rose Gold, which enhances contrasts to reveal lines that other lenses are unable to make appear.

– Skier Colby Stevenson dominates the mountain with Prizm Snow Argon, which improves depth perception in low light conditions.

– Cyclist Cory Williams pedals wearing Prizm Road, avoiding potholes, cracks, and other obstacles that could hinder his ride.

– Surfer Sage Erickson is convinced by Prizm Tungsten and its real-time enhancement of brilliance, contrasts, and colors.

“It’s easy to get caught up in the science, but the fact is that Prizm reveals details that the naked eye typically wouldn’t see,” explains Ryan Saylor, Senior Vice President of Advanced Product Development at Oakley.

“Every time one of our athletes wears a frame or goggle equipped with Prizm lenses, their face shows an expression of amazement. This particular moment is the result of years of in-depth research, testing, and innovation to understand how vision could be improved in certain environments. The attention to detail and the imagination of a lens’s potential are Oakley’s true distinguishing elements.”

Prizm lens technology is available on Oakley glasses and goggles, in the sun and optical range.
