BACK IN THE ESTÉREL MASSIF
Highly popular at the previous edition, where they expanded the Roc d’Azur’s horizons towards the Estérel Massif, the Rando Estérel, Rando Électrique Estérel, and Canyon Gravel Estérel events, traced on the heights of Saint-Raphaël, will once again offer a sublime landscape with its ocher rocks and magnificent panoramas of the Mediterranean. Starting from the Cap Estérel village in Saint-Raphaël and finishing in Agay, mountain bikers can choose from 4 distances, from 24 to 56 km (49 to 70 km for gravel), on routes technically accessible to all.
NEW EVENTS TO MAKE THE FESTIVITIES EVEN BETTER
On Saturday, October 7, the Roc Trail also grows with an additional distance. It now features four events (16 km, 22 km, 32 km, 43 km) starting from Roquebrune-sur-Argens, with the joy of seeing the magnificent Rocher de Roquebrune rise above the Argens plain.
After opening its doors to triathletes with the Tri Roc in 2012 and then to trail runners last year, the Roc d’Azur will now offer walkers four hiking itineraries (5 km, 8 km, 13 km, and 22 km) on Sunday, October 8.
Finally, why settle for just one activity at the Roc d’Azur when the program offers so many possibilities? Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to satisfy their desire for diversity with the Multi-Roc Challenge. The rule of this true sporting challenge: participate in the Tri Roc on Thursday, the Ford Roc Marathon on Friday, the Roc Trail (32 km) on Saturday, and of course, the Roc d’Azur on Sunday. The ranking will be based on the cumulative performance! Enough to entertain some.
TRADITIONAL EVENTS STILL GUARANTEE THE SPIRIT OF ROC D’AZUR
Over time and editions, certain events have become essential benchmarks for all those who come each year to extend their summer in Fréjus. Participants will thus find the traditional Rallye Roc XC and Roc Trophy (one event per day for five days) starting on Wednesday, the Tri Roc on Thursday, the Ford Roc Marathon, the Enduroc, and the Roc Ruelles de Fréjus on Friday, the Rando Noire, the Rando Déguisée, the Canyon Gravel Roc, and the Kid Roc for the youngest on Saturday. And of course… the Roc d’Azur on Sunday with its world stars.
