The Megamo Kansas lets you enjoy long days on the bike, cover more kilometers, and tackle more elevation gain. The Megamo Kansas features a mid-drive motor, which keeps the bike’s weight centered, thereby increasing its stability and maneuverability and offering a much more natural ride. The bike’s design is very minimalist and sleek, thanks to its battery fully integrated into the frame and internal wiring.

Mid-drive motor

Thanks to its built-in torque control, the mid-drive motor delivers the right amount of power at the right moment. With a power output of 200W and 65Nm of torque, it’s one of the most balanced bikes in its class. The motor’s lightweight design—weighing less than 2.5 kg—and its low center of gravity ensure handling that’s well-suited for mountain routes. The helical gear system and carefully selected materials allow you to enjoy a quiet ride along trails and paths. The motor’s discreet design and seamless integration help achieve a well-balanced weight. The mid-drive motor’s position allows for a geometry with short chainstays—a rarity for an e-bike. Thanks to the integrated torque control, the mid-drive motor delivers the right amount of power at the right moment.

An efficiency rating of over 80% is remarkable at speeds above 25 km/h, resulting in a much more natural pedaling experience when the assist is not engaged. It is also capable of withstanding extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions thanks to its side guards. The motor housing is protected by a highly durable aluminum casing.

Integrated Battery

The battery, fully integrated into the bike’s frame, has a capacity of 504Wh. Its large 504Wh capacity will allow you to enjoy even the longest rides. It can be easily removed thanks to a security system featuring an anti-theft key.

Display

Monitor all information via the LCD screen: kilometers traveled, current speed, assistance level, and remaining battery charge. This unit works in conjunction with the handlebar controls, using data from the torque sensor on the bottom bracket and the speed sensor. The 5 assistance levels ensure you can adjust the power to suit your riding style. When you need to push the bike, you also have electric assistance up to 4 km/h to navigate obstacles and ramps.

Design and Development

The Kansas frame accommodates various wheel sizes, ranging from 650b x 47, 700c x 37, to 700c x 50. You decide which dimensions best suit your needs and whether you prefer suspension over speed. Anything is possible thanks to generous wheel clearance, even on muddy terrain. It’s highly versatile, allowing riders to explore new trails regardless of their experience level—everyone can enjoy this bike and all it has to offer.
