Today, Trek is launching the all-new Dual Sport, featuring a completely redesigned frame that emphasizes capability and on-bike storage. It fits perfectly between the road and gravel bike categories, with increased tire clearance to absorb shocks on rough roads and a comfortable geometry, ideal for riding in the city and beyond.
The new Dual Sport features an all-new, completely redesigned frame, giving it a sleek and modern look.
Trek has replaced the previous generation’s suspension fork with a carbon fork that, combined with the new, lighter frame, reduces the bike’s weight by nearly 2 kg (on the Dual Sport 3 model). This lighter weight improves the bike’s handling, making it easier than ever to maneuver on greenways and trails, while the carbon fork absorbs riding vibrations, reducing fatigue and increasing comfort.

The new Dual Sport comes with numerous mounting points for frame bags, racks, fenders, panniers, and more. Whether you’re loading up the bike for your daily commute or gearing up to venture off the beaten path, the Dual Sport is ready to tackle any situation.
A new wheel size improves the Dual Sport’s comfort and handling. Instead of the 700C x 40 mm wheels found on previous generations, the Dual Sport is now equipped with stiffer, more responsive 27.5-inch wheels that accommodate 2-inch-wide tires to absorb potholes and rough roads.
For a clean finish, Trek has simplified the Dual Sport’s cable routing by running the cables through the head tube and frame, reducing maintenance while improving the bike’s appearance.
