ENVE Partners with UAE Team Emirates as Wheel and Cockpit Supplier

ENVE has partnered with UAE Team Emirates and UAE Team ADQ programs as a wheel and cockpit (stems + handlebars) supplier in a multi-year agreement.

The team of two-time Tour de France winner Tadej Pogacar will have the full range of SES Tubeless road wheels for racing and Foundation wheels for training. Riders will also have the option to use ENVE’s SES AeroRoad, SES AR, and Compact Road handlebars and stems with ENVE’s In-Route system for internal routing.

The partnership sees ENVE re-enter the World Tour through the UAE men’s and women’s teams with a clear focus on performance. After extensive objective and subjective review by UAE, which included wind tunnel testing and competitive evaluation of several major industry brands, ENVE’s SES range was chosen for its Real-World Fast performance philosophy that balances aerodynamics, rolling resistance, and weight.

“In our Team, we are always looking for ways to innovate and use the best possible equipment on the market. The decision to choose ENVE came after several tests carried out on the road and in the wind tunnel, and we concluded that these wheels were among the best available. We are very happy to partner with a quality brand and we look forward to working together towards many victories in the years to come,” said Mauro Gianetti, UAE Director and Manager.

Since 2016, when ENVE introduced the SES AR, the first wheel designed to offer aerodynamic efficiency around Tubeless tires, the specific characteristics of the SES AR rim have become important performance elements for the entire new SES range. As Tubeless tires become a standard in the WorldTour, the SES line has further differentiated itself from other brands, particularly in the wind tunnel, thanks to its hookless and Tubeless-only design.

Previous victories by riders with 28mm Tubeless tires have paved the way for a major change in bikes. Regardless of the terrain, this technology has proven its superiority. ENVE has been a pioneering brand in this field. “After a short break from the World Tour, we couldn’t be more excited about our new partnership with UAE Team Emirates. For ENVE, partnerships at this level allow for product development and validation through testers with extraordinary capabilities. We hope to make the most of this collaboration and Tadej Pogačar’s feedback to develop our future products and technologies,” said Jeremy Venz, CEO of ENVE.
